FCC Grant Funds Ministry Outings for Those on Fixed Incomes

The SAGES (Sensational Adults Going Everywhere!) is a group of over fifty members and friends of First Christian Church of Louisville ages 55 and up that engage regularly in fellowship.

Each month this group of senior adults gets together to share their blessings and burdens with one another around food, fun, and lots of laughter!

Part of that group is made up of individuals on a fixed income. When that is the case, it can be hard to find the budget for outings like lunch and tours. Thanks to your generous giving, a wholeness ministry grant has made it possible for everyone to attend regardless of their ability to pay. And each month there is free dessert for those celebrating a birthday because birthdays are a huge reason to celebrate!
