Our primary worship service is pre-recorded and made available each Saturday evening by 6:00 p.m. You can view that on-demand at any point by clicking here.
Our outdoor worship service is suspended at this time. We will explore the option to resume later this year.
Worship is a central part of our faith lives and at First Christian Church, we seek to provide worship services that help lead to a deeper relationship with God and with one another. We also seek to make worship provide relevant insights into how we can apply the teachings of our faith to daily life.
Due to COVID-19, our health advisory task force has recommended that indoor services remain suspended until we are able to meet safely. We look forward to the time when we can pray, sing, and worship together in person!
Our traditional worship service includes a more liturgically base worship order. The congregational music consists primarily of traditional hymns.
9:30 & 11:00 a.m.
These services are contemporary in design and resemble each other almost identically. The worship order is more flexible and the congregational music primarily consists of praise music led by our worship band.
Our Approach to Communion
Communion, also called the Lord's Supper or Eucharist in some traditions, is a central part of our weekly worship services. We believe that just as the love of Jesus Christ is open to all believers, so is communion. Everyone who worships with us is invited to participate in communion.
At First Christian Church, all means all. No exceptions!
If you are worshipping with a child, we leave the decision of his or her participation entirely to you. Feel free to let them participate with you either by taking of the bread and cup and/or by explaining to them what this very special moment means.
