FCC Member Crafts Water Filters Covers

Water With Blessings, a faith-based mission that provides water filters to communities without access to clean water, is celebrating 10 years of bringing clean water to God's thirsty children. A decade ago, Water with Blessings started in a small neighborhood in Honduras and though the organization has grown to 72,000 Water Women in 45 countries, the original program is still going strong. Those original Water Women are still using the same Sawyer Products filter they received a decade ago to provide clean water for their families and neighbors. Your support has made a tremendous difference in their lives.

In 2019, First Christian Church of Louisville member, Joy Davis, requested and received a Wholeness Ministry Grant for the third year in a row to purchase the supplies needed to craft the covers used to protect the filters when they are shipped. While these filters provide lifesaving technology, they are also meant to serve as a reminder to those who receive them that they are not alone which is a blessed reminder we all need at times in our lives.

The wholeness grant used to fund this ministry was made possible through your faithful financial support of our church and its ministries and help fund a variety of efforts to make our world a better place.
