Prescient Medicine partners with FCC to provide computers to EACM

Eastern Area Community Ministries receives new computers from Prescient Medicine thanks to a grant from FCC.

In the fall of 2018, Prescient Medicine donated eight unused computers, monitors, and keyboards to Eastern Area Community Ministries (EACM). With the help of a First Christian Church of Louisville Wholeness Ministry Grant, Prescient Medicine was able to replace the hard drives and install Windows 10 and Microsoft Office for each of the eight computers.

EACM will utilize these computers in their lab as they work to train clients in the computer skills needed for employment opportunities as well as offering these computers to families working on stability in their households. Whether it means having internet and computer access at home for children's’ school work or parents working from home, these computers will provide digital inclusion to many who would otherwise not have access to technology.

The wholeness grant used to fund this ministry was made possible through your faithful financial support of our church and its ministries and help fund a variety of efforts to make our world a better place.
