Hanging of the Greens 2020 - November 29

Dear Families (children and youth),

The Hanging of the Greens Worship Service led by our children is one of the most amazing Sundays each year. However, like most things 2020 it needs to look a little different. We are still in the planning stages of exactly what this year’s Hanging of the Greens will look like but whatever we decide, WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Much like Youth Sunday, we will assign tasks and youth and children will pre-record aspects of worship either via their phones or during a super safe, private, masked, socially distant recording session in the church sanctuary.

Here are the details we can give you at this point:

• This means we need to have everything recorded, edited, and ready to share with our congregation by the Monday prior to that Sunday date.  

• We need volunteers who are willing to do readings, prayers, communion, sing with the worship band, play a musical instrument, etc.  Once we have the volunteers we need, we will share the logistics of recording your segment.

• We want to include as many youth & children as possible! We want you/them to get to choose what fits best. We'll walk you through each step. We'll help and support you in every way.
