First Christian Church Welcomes Gina Patrick as Our New Office Administrator

First Christian Church is excited to introduce our new Office Administrator, Gina Patrick.

After receiving over 230 applications for the position, having telephone interviews with 12, and in person interviews with 6 final candidates, Gina rose to the top of an extremely qualified and talented applicant pool.

She comes to us with glowing references, a strong work history, a solid portfolio of communication pieces, proven skills in a broad range of technologies, and a fabulous personal presence.

Gina grew up in Berea, KY and has lived in three states and two countries. She has a BA in Religion, with an emphasis in Biblical Studies, from Berea College and an MA in Peace Studies from Bradford University in England.

Gina has worked in customer service and in an administrative capacity for many years in a wide range of industries. Most previously, she held the position of Administrative Assistant for Student Affairs at Bellarmine University. Gina also has several years of experience working in an early childhood education setting as both a child care provider and in an administrative capacity.

Gina and her fiancé, Cody, will be married in May 2018 and are looking forward to the life they plan to build together. Gina and Cody are board game fanatics and Gina enjoys soaking up sunshine, reading, baking, listening to true crime podcasts and spending time with friends and family.

In addition, Gina enjoys traveling. She was afforded the opportunity to travel throughout Europe while in graduate school and was invited to take part in a sister-city exchange trip to Japan. She is looking forward to future travel to other continents.

Gina begins her role at the church today, April 16th. She will be spending this week working alongside Paula Bernd, who has done an excellent job of getting things ready for a smooth transition.
