Contemporary Poetry and the Spiritual Life
Wednesdays, Jan. 7, 14 & 21
On Zoom at 7 p.m.
This 3-week, no homework class examines some famous poems in light of prayer and our walk with God. Frost, Dickinson, Sexton, and Oliver are among the poets we will discuss.
Our facilitator, Dena Skees, is a writer, copywriter, editor, and professor of writing with Indiana University Southeast, Kentucky State University, and Midcontinent University. Once editor of the Episcopal Diocesan Newsletter, she holds a Masters in Rhetoric, Composition, and a Masters in Teaching.Â
