Summer 2025 at FCC!

FCC LOU – End of Summer Recap

Wow — June and July have flown by! What an incredible summer we’ve shared together as a church family. From joyful moments of celebration to meaningful ministry opportunities, there’s been so much to be thankful for. Here are just a few highlights:

  • Holiday World Trip – A group of 33 people connected with our church had a fun-filled day of laughter, rides, and connection.

  • Pickleball Nights – We hosted 5 pickleball nights, giving youth and adults a fun and active way to connect and unwind.

  • Food Trucks & Fellowship – For 6 weeks, we gathered on Wednesday nights with food trucks, fellowship, and yes—dogs! It was a true community favorite.

    • First Kids Picnic – We enjoyed a fun evening of bounce houses, popsicles, and water play with our First Kids Families.

  • Church Camp – 6 of our children and youth attended camp this summer, building friendships and growing in faith.

  • Baptism – We celebrated one beautiful baptism—a moment of deep spiritual significance and joy.

  • Capital Campaign – Over 4 weeks, we leaned into the future with prayer and commitment, launching our Capital Campaign journey.

  • General Assembly – Several from our community participated in this important gathering of the wider church.

This summer was full of life, laughter, and faith—and we’re so grateful for everyone who helped make it special. As we look ahead to the fall, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and excitement for what God will continue to do in and through our community.
