First Christian Church Sanctuary Renovations

As part of our on-going efforts to impact our community, First Christian Church of Louisville is committed to providing the very best worship and church life possible. To that end, half of the funds raised from our 2014 Staking our Claim initiative were used to provide some much needed updates to our our sanctuary. Those renovations were completed in September 2014

Those renovations included the following:

- New Carpeting

- New Pew Cushions and Covers

- New Lighting and Controls

- Re-designed Space for Worship Band

- New Video Displays for Front and Rear of Sanctuary

- Cleaned and Re-Sealed Aggragate Floor

- Newly Designed and Re-located Coffee Bar

- Enhanced Inclusion Areas with New TVs and Speakers

In order to help our ministry dollars go further, we had multiple work days where members pitched in and made a huge difference. Those days were hard work, but they were also a lot of fun and provided some great intergenerational interaction. Check out the following video to see what we mean!

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to make these improvements without having to borrow any money. Another example of how much your gifts matter!

We are already making plans for the next phase if on-site improvements for the coming year. Thank you in advance for your continuing financial support, as it will make off of it possible.
